Start by the river

Eurovea has a Danube promenade with places for food and coffee. Our suggestion is to choose one stretch and take it slowly. Bring an extra layer on a windy day, and allow for water and breaks in warm weather. You can enjoy the views without covering the whole waterfront.

Architecture from another angle

Around Sky Park you can see a newer side of the city; towards Zuckermandel, newer buildings meet the area below the castle. Do not try to join everything into one rushed circuit. Choose a direction from your starting point and one appealing stop. Treat the route as your own exploration rather than a formal tour.

An easy ride back

Your walk does not have to end where it began. On a longer route, keep the option of public transport back. DPB offers several ticket options, including the IDS BK app and TAPni sa. Check ticket validity and your particular connection before boarding; fares can change, so we do not fix a price in this guide.

Kovee tip: walk in one direction and choose your way back according to your energy, not the original plan.
